GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE - Hôtel Restaurant Cave Bel-Air Sàrl

Service and price

The customer is required to pay the agreed or applicable hotel price for the provision of his room and any other service received. The same applies to the services requested by the customer and the expenses paid by the hotel to third parties.

Prices are expressed in CHF and are understood to be per room and per night, services and VAT included. Tourist tax per adult person per night is not included.

Prices on site are times and we reserve the right to make any price changes in the event of a gross error.


Reservation

The customer can book through different channels:

  • Our website
  • The different online booking sites
  • By telephone. You may be asked to go through our site, which governs all of our conditions
  • By email, in which case you will be asked to book through our site, which governs all our conditions Live at reception

At the end of a reservation by phone, on site or via our site, a confirmation will be sent to you, by email only, which will contain all the information necessary for the smooth running of your stay.


Payment

The credit card used at the time of booking will automatically be charged 100% of the total amount at the time of booking. We also make a pre-authorization of 50% of the amount of the reservation on the credit card which will be released following your check-out.

Hotel invoices without indication of their due date are payable within 10 days of receipt. The hotel is entitled at any time to demand payment of debts due as well as immediate payment.

The hotel is entitled to require a guarantee or a deposit at the time of conclusion of the contract. The amount of the deposit and the date of payment will be indicated in the offer.

If the customer is domiciled abroad, the hotel reserves the right to debit the total amount of the invoice from the credit card presented as a guarantee. Any bank charges and exchange differences are the responsibility of the customer.

In the event of non-payment, the file is sent, within 30 days, to MyDebitors for recovery. The costs involved are the responsibility of the customer.


Check-in / check-out time

Rooms are available from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

  • Depending on the occupancy rate of the hotel and on request only with confirmation from us, the departure time can be postponed to 11:00 a.m. (no charge), until 2:00 p.m. 50% of the room price will be requested , beyond 100% of the price of the room will be charged.
  • Depending on the hotel occupancy rate and on request only with confirmation from us, check-in before 3:00 p.m. may be possible but not guaranteed.


Breakfasts

Unless otherwise specified, breakfast is included in the room rate. It is served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on normal opening days, and from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on closed days.

  • On request it is possible to bring breakfast forward, at 7.15 am at the earliest.
  • It is possible to book without breakfast, in which case the sum of CHF. 5. — per person per night will be deducted.
  • If requested, at the latest the evening before, breakfast can be canceled for the next day, in which case it will be deducted from your bill.

Pets

Pets are not allowed in our rooms. The hotel reserves the right to charge for additional cleaning in the event of non-compliance.


Smoking

All our rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on the balconies and terraces. In the event of smoke in the rooms, the hotel applies zero tolerance and an amount of CHF. 200. — will be billed.


Terms of cancelation

Reservations are final as soon as the order is placed through our website, or upon acceptance of the offer, or upon confirmation by telephone. In the event of cancellation after the expiration of the cancellation period, the stay may be re-invoiced.

Cancellation conditions may vary depending on the offer. Certain prices are subject to conditions excluding any cancellation. Unless otherwise indicated, the following conditions apply to reservations:

  • Cancellation up to 5 days before the day of arrival: free of charge
  • Cancellation after 5 days before the day of arrival:
    • First night of each room invoiced at 100%, if the hotel has not been able to resell the room (s).
    • Subsequent nights billed at 50%, if the hotel has not been able to resell the room (s).

If the customer has the possibility to cancel his reservation under the preceding points, the hotel is entitled to cancel a reservation in the following cases:

  • Non-payment of the requested deposit
  • In the event of force majeure or other circumstances not attributable to the hotel making performance of the contract impossible (fire, earthquake, war, etc.).
  • If the reservation was made on presentation of misleading, fraudulent or inaccurate data.
  • If the hotel has serious reasons to believe that the use of its services may affect its proper functioning, damage its reputation without this falling within its area of responsibility or presenting security risks.


Reservations through external service providers

When booking through a travel agency or any other external service provider, including but not limited to Booking.com, Expedia.com, the terms and conditions of the latter apply. Prices are also changed to cover the additional costs incurred by them.


Extra bed, baby cots

On request and according to possibility and availability, we can provide a cot or an additional bed in the rooms. This service is invoiced in CHF. 25. — per night and includes breakfast.


Responsibility of duty and diligence

The customer is required to use the rented item with the greatest possible care. The customer or the company must answer for any material damage caused.

The hotel declines all responsibility in the event of theft or loss.


Lost objects

If an item is forgotten, the hotel agrees to label the item and then store it if it is non-perishable. The hotel will keep the item in question for a maximum period of 3 months. In the event of non-recovery, the hotel may dispose of the object. The customer can request that their item be sent by post at their own expense and the hotel declines all responsibility for any damage.


Evolution and modification of the general conditions of sale

These General and Sales Conditions may be modified and / or supplemented at any time by Hôtel Restaurant Cave Bel-Air Sàrl. In this case, their new version will be put online by Hôtel Restaurant Cave Bel-Air Sàrl. As soon as they are put online, they will apply automatically to all customers, except for reservations already made.


Conclusion

These rules, which may be amended at any time, apply to all our services, available directly or indirectly (through our partners) online, by email or by phone. By accessing our website or any other platform, by carrying out research, using it and / or making a reservation, you declare that you have read these rules of use and accept them.
